Hello again! Over the past couple years I’ve been starting to build up a decent collection of vinyls. My dad opened a record store this past year and most of my collection has come from him! I would not have even half the amount that I do if he hadn’t given them to me, thanks dad if you’re reading this! I do have a huge box of old records that my boyfriends parents gave to us that still need to be sorted through and cleaned so none of those are going to be in this post! The ones that I’m going to show you today are some of my favourites and the newest that have been added to the collection!

I really enjoy listening to vinyls because not only is the sound unreal but you don’t have the ability to just skip through songs whenever you want. You get to hear songs that you might not have heard if you had listened to the artist/band on Spotify. I think that it gives you more of an appreciation for the artist. Having music on in the background is one of my favourite things in the world, it’s so relaxing and totally changes the atmosphere of the room.

  • The Hurry and the Harm – city and colour
  • Sometimes – city and colour
  • AM – Arctic Monkeys

  • Magic Potion – The Black Keys
  • Fleetwood Mac Greatest Hits
  • Eagles Greatest Hits

  • Little Hell – city and colour
  • Saint Cecilia EP – Foo Fighters
  • Little Machines – Lights

  • Rumours – Fleetwood Mac (their best album, I might add)
  • How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful – Florence + The Machine
  • Legend the Best of Bob Marley and the Wailers

Let me know in the comments what your favourite records are and which ones you want to get next!! If you don’t collect vinyls, let me know who your favourite artist/band is!

Vinyl has always seemed to be a true way to listen to the music that you enjoy. Its hard to place why the white noise a sense of harmony in the waves of beautiful music fills the air and reverberates peace in you mind.

I really want to get Turnover’s Peripheral Vision on vinyl. One of my favorites that we have is an album by Jack White.

The Beatles and Patsy Cline are my favorite vinyls that I have! I’m hoping to get some Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and more Beatles one 🙂
